Alexander DJ Serotanine & Roman Nophu are both from St. Petersburgh. The two techno music lovers met each other in 2005 and no one was surprised that they finally formed a project called Postapocalyps Pop after nearly a year.

DJ Serotanine is not a novice in techno thing, his career started in 1999 and since that he played in most of St. Peterburgh’s clubs, to name a few - Deep Sound, Tunnel, Inside, Griboedov, etc. and even on some big festivals around. Time passed, and one moment DJ Serotanine tried to quit with music, he even sold his records and hid himself in the army, but techno affection caught his brain strongly. At the same time Roman was busy making connections with intergalactic secret services. The first live performance of Postapocalyps Pop project took place at ‘Bronze Lake’ festival in 2006, followed by some club-shows which drew a lot of positive responses among techno music fans.

Alexander & Roman always experiment with styles - techno, electro, gabba, but the basis is common - brighton techno. Experiments let them form unique sound combinations, such as melody and hardness, minimalism and strong bass… sometimes it comes up to weirdness and absurd.

Postapocalyps Pop gained a reputation of party-freaks and harum-scarum artists, and that’s not surprising - every of their shows is different and unforgettable! Chronic laziness and disorder doesn’t make them explode dancefloors outside St. Petersburgh and furter outside Russia, but the day will come and the world will be conquered and charmed under the spell of Postapocalyps Pop’s music, of course not without the help of those intergalactic secret services ;)
